Toll Architecture, a national full-service Toll Brothers company, seeks a Structural Engineer in Training for our office located in Grapevine, Texas.

Toll Architecture creates award-winning designs for luxury home communities in 24 states and 50 markets throughout the country. Don’t miss this opportunity to use your structural engineering skills, along with our state-of-the-art equipment, to design luxury master-planned golf course and active adult communities, recreational facilities, clubhouses, and multi-family/commercial projects!

 

What is the opportunity?

 

Design the structural components of residential wood structures and assist in code research. Adhere to team processes, standards, and schedules. Collaborate with architectural and engineering staff.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Code research
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Does this describe you?

  • Basic knowledge of residential wood design and construction
  • Able to work with other engineers and architectural staff
  • Intermediate written and verbal skills
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must have already taken and passed FE exam

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering
    • Up to 2 years of experience
    • Willingness to learn
    • Ability to follow established procedures
    • Team player
  • Preferred:
    • Residential wood design and construction
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work with others
