Toll Brothers, America's leading builder of luxury homes seeks a Community Development Manager to join our team in our division located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. 

 

What is the opportunity?

 

The Manager, Community Development is the primary point of contact for community association matters in their Division. This position will collaborate frequently with the Toll Brothers Community Association Group (CAG) to ensure the proper implementation of Toll’s standards in order to create, foster and transition vibrant, positive and self-sufficient communities. This position will assemble and review necessary documents (drafted by others) for proper disclosure (e.g., budgets, governing documents, architectural guidelines, etc.) for community sales teams, answer questions from internal and external clients and oversee community association Board service and meeting attendance.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Serve as primary Toll liaison to management companies. Provide guidance and oversight to management companies in consultation with the CAG.
  • Ensure community association lifestyle programs (as implemented by management companies) are flourishing and are benefitting marketing efforts.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to internal clients and leadership regarding community associations, in consultation with CAG when necessary.
  • Oversee assembly of necessary documents in consultation with outside counsel and management firms for required disclosures & distribute to sales teams, updating as necessary.
  • Assemble new community association governing documents in consultation with outside counsel and CAG.
  • Coordinate transition to Homeowner control in consultation with CAG and Legal team including negotiation of general release agreement.
  • Oversee board service and board meeting attendance. Serve on community association Boards as practicable. Consult with Operations team and CAG regarding policy for toll communities as questions arise.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the community association industry or related industries.
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Community association industry designations (e.g., CMCA®, AMS®, PCAM® or LSM®)

The salary for this position is $85,000-$95,000 plus a monthly mobile device allowance.
