Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, seeks a Regional Financial Officer to join our team at our division office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

 

What is the opportunity?  

 

The Regional Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing all financial planning and analysis functions within a geographic region and serves as a key business partner to regional leadership.

 

What are the primary responsibilities? 

  •  Manage and mentor a team including Sr. FP&A leadership and Financial Analysts
  • Oversee/review and coordinate monthly and quarterly projections, variance analysis of actual results vs projected, review of balance sheet and income statement and other reports to summarize financial performance, identifying areas of strategic opportunity and risk
  • Prepare and present consolidated monthly and quarterly regional financial reporting to Sr. Leadership
  • Facilitate the formal business planning process and regular review, quarterly updates, and semi-annual re-forecast for presentation to Sr. Management
  • Analyze key company metrics of ROA, Gross Margin, SG&A, and Operating Margin while focusing on regional investment
  • Partner with Operations by supporting and preparing analyses required for strategic growth and operational efficiencies
  • Participate with Sr. Operations management on strategic decisions and initiatives
  • Conduct industry research, analyze competitors, identify and address financial risks, trends and opportunities
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Does this describe you? 

  • Possess an understanding of traditional financial accounting and budgetary principles and terminology
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while focusing on detail orientation and effective time management
  • Experience managing and training a team
  • Proven track record of managing complex processes with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Experience communicating with senior operational and accounting leaders

Do you have these qualifications?  

  • Essential:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Applied Mathematics is preferred
    • 8-10 years of professional finance or accounting experience
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
    • Ability to travel up to 25% within assign region
  • Preferred:
    • MBA or equivalent
    • Experience in real estate, ideally home building/construction
    • Experience using JD Edwards/ E1, and EPM tooling (OneStream, Board, Anaplan, etc.)

The salary for this position is $172,970 - $229,360 plus an annual discretionary bonus
