Toll Brothers, America's Leading Builder of Luxury Homes, seeks a Purchasing Shared Services Manager for our team at our Corporate office in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
The Purchasing Shared Services Manager is responsible for overseeing Purchasing administrative processes and activities. The Shared Service Center provides contracting support to facilitate consistent, companywide use of EnterpriseOne (E1) and efficiencies in purchasing processes, including opportunities for contracting to be streamlined and improved. This role oversees a team to provide business related support through the generation of bidding spreadsheets, bid data loading, and contract documentation processing and management. The Purchasing Shared Services Manager must have strong technical skills, experience managing data in a robust collaborative platform, and purchasing experience. This individual will apply proven communication, organizational and customer service skills to help maximize efficiency of Purchasing administrative tasks across the enterprise.
What are the primary responsibilities?
- Prepare and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) outlining and defining Division and Shared Service team responsibilities to ensure complete data submissions to facilitate efficient and accurate processing according to agreed upon timelines
- Maintain communication and inspire positive relationships with Division Purchasing teams and Division leadership to drive an open and trusting work environment
- Partner with Division Purchasing leaders to resolve concerns and issues
- Prepare monthly reporting and metrics on team efficiency, including accuracy of data received from
division users and number and accuracy of Shared Service requests processed - Continuously evaluate and improve Purchasing processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
People and Talent Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Purchasing professionals, fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented work environment
- Manage team priorities and balance workload, assessing the day-to-day situation and providing guidance when priorities need to change
- Develop and deliver training for new team hires
Purchasing System Use and Support
- Focus on consistent, enterprise-wide setup, to reduce maintenance and troubleshooting
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve system errors
- Develop a deep working knowledge of the contracting and bid entry process to facilitate accurate purchasing data, including
- Setup of trade partner bid data and Division/community Supplier Assignments
- Contract changes and updates to purchase orders to ensure cost and trade partner accuracy
- Validate Division Purchasing requests to confirm data accuracy
- Verify document storage for all contract and supporting bid documentation per current national guidance (e.g. FEITH, Division SharePoint sites, etc.)
- Oversee lot start process
- Adhere to deadlines to ensure timely and accurate trade partner purchase orders and reporting

Do you have these qualifications?
- Essential:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Residential Purchasing or other relevant experience in the residential
building sector - 5+ years in lead-to-manager role, including leading a team of at least 10 people
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel
- Functional working knowledge of EnterpriseOne (E1) or similar robust purchasing tool
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Residential Purchasing or other relevant experience in the residential
- Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with EnterpriseOne (E1) Homebuilder Sales Solution (HBSS)
- Experience with Hyphen Solutions BuildPro software
