Toll Architecture, a national full-service Toll Brothers company seeks a President of Architecture to join our team at our office in Irvine, California.

 

What is the opportunity?

 

The President of Toll Architecture has responsibility to lead the architecture discipline for the Company with a keen sense of design capability and business acumen, driving efficiencies, growth opportunities and policies, while managing teams that produce sought after community and home designs that appeal to a wide demographic of clientele. This person is also responsible for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and promoting the department’s values and long-range plans, and positioning the organization for success.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • To lead the comprehensive Architecture department that includes both the design discipline inhouse and with external partners, as well as managing a full-service back-office discipline that provides a suite of technical architecture documents and materials
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to develop and communicate the vision and strategy for the Architecture organization
  • Manage the organization’s results against established objectives
  • Work to establish the architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices companywide
  • Identify performance improvement and innovation opportunities
  • Prepare budgets and roadmap to fulfill business needs
  • Ensure efficiency, quality enhancement, staffing and professional development
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in residential architecture design

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • Licensed Architect
    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
    • 10+ years in enterprise architecture in a management role
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Able to travel
    • P&L responsibility experience

The total compensation package (base, bonus, mobile allowance, stock equity) for this position is $400,000 - $750,000.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
