Toll Brothers, our nation's luxury home builder, seeks a Materials Estimator for Toll Integrated Systems, our house component assembly and manufacturing subsidiary in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

 

What is the opportunity?

Utilizing house plans, create various material take off lists (bills of material) for all items supplied by TIS
except for wall & truss designs. Take offs are to be designed for repeated use

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Read & interpret architectural plans.
  • Create material lists that follow company standards & expectations.
  • Organize material lists and be able to communicate info to data entry.
  • Review new house orders and determine if additional info is required to create accurate material
    lists.
  • Work with Production Design Engineers to ensure complete material requirements are being
    supplied.
  • Learn to identify various Toll Brothers, Inc product lines and understand how they differ and how
    they are the same. Leading to organized material lists.

Qualifications

Does this describe you?

  • Familiarity with TPM, 5S, continuous improvement, and quality operating systems
  • Basic technical and troubleshooting ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in related job function or field
  • Preferred:
    • A high school degree preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered
